Day 01 : Bangalore
Upon arrival at Bangalore, our Executive will meet you at the Airport followed by transfer from Airport to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Bangalore.

Day 02 : Bangalore
After breakfast we proceed for the sight seeing of Bangalore visiting - ‘Vidhan Souda’-one of India most spectacular building that houses the secretariat and the state legislature, onward we visit “The Government Museum” –one of the oldest in India established in 1864, the ‘Bull temple’ – one of the oldest temples of Bangalore built in Dravidian style and houses a monolith Nandi (bull) of huge size and the ‘Tipu Sulthan Palace’ – a palace completed of 1971 by Tippu sulthan. Finally we visit the ISKCON Temple (International Society For Krishna Consciousness). This ornate temple built on a hillock with granite, marble and Korean glass, is a huge cultural complex and was established to promote Vedic culture and spiritual learning. Later return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Bangalore.

Day 03 : Bangalore - Hassan
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast at 07.30am and drive to Hassan. On arrival check-in to the hotel and at 14.00hrs visit to the famous Hoysala temples of “Belur & Halebid”. The 12th century temples of Belur and Halebid stands the most beautiful for its most beautiful sculptures when compared to any other temples in south India. Typically these temples are squat & star shaped. Its outstanding sculptures all over the walls and pillars states the stories from the old epics of Ramayana, Mahabharatha & Bhagavath Geetha enabling to know of Hindu culture. It also describes the story of the rulers of Karnataka and their interest in dance and music. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Hotel in Hassan.

Day 04 : Hassan - Mysore (Via Saravanabelagola)
After early breakfast checkot from the hotel and drive to Mysore. Enroute visit - Saravanabelagola, the famous Jain pilgrim center & one of the oldest in India. The place is known as one of the greatest monuments of Jain art. The collosul statue of Gomateswara with a height of 57 feet is situated on the summit of Indragiri hill. It is one of the two giant sculptures in the world, after the Collosus Ramses II in Egypt. Later drive a short while to reach the hotel in Mysore. On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest. Overnight at Hotel in Mysore.

Day 05 : Mysore
Morning after breakfast, drive to Somnathpur - a tiny village on the banks of the Kaveri. Here in this everlasting rural stillness, like a milestone to eternity, stood one of the last and the grandest of Hoysala monuments - the Kesava Temple built 740 years ago. Later return to Srirengapatnam - a place with Ancient history is an Island fortress. We visit Tippu’s Summer Palace & the Fort. Later drive to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary - on one of the three islands in the Cauvery River. It’s a good place to see Storks, Ibis, Egrets, Darters, Spoonbills and Cormorants round the year. Return to hotel late afternoon. Later in the evening we proceed to visit Chamundi hill temple and the Bull temple enroute. A view of Mysore city from the hilltop is breath taking. Overnight at Hotel in Mysore.

Day 06 : Mysore - Tanjore
After breakfast we proceed for the city tour of Mysore visiting Maharaja’s Palace built as recently as 1897, which is one of the biggest in India; St Philomena’s Church etc; Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. Later we visit Devaraj Market - Mysore's landmark, the over a century-old Devaraja Market. The market is the most popular attraction among tourists. The much-photographed piles of colours used for decorating idols, the banana halls, the wonderful array of vegetables and above all the flowers make it one of India's most attractive markets. You can buy jasmine marigolds by the pound and trays full of roses. The garland makers will string flowers while you wait. A real treat for the senses!. Check out from the hotel late in the afternoon to board on ward overnight train to Tanjore. Overnight on board train.

Day 07 : Tanjore
On arrival, meet assistance and you will be transfer to hotel and after refreshment we proceed for the city tour of Tanjore visiting - The world famous Brihadeshwar temple (houses one of Asia’s biggest nandi –the bull). The temple built by the cholas is very special for its architecture. The most exiting is that the temple does not have a shadow falling on ground at any time of day but falls on its own body. Then on visit the Bronze gallery at palace museum. Later drive to hotel and after lunch & a short relaxation, around 4.00pm we take you on a special visit to the near by village in here to experience the art of Statue making & Glass painting. You can watch people at work clarify all your doubt related. You also have the possibility of trying it our practically at the work spot in the village. Later return to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Tanjore.

Day 08 : Tanjore - Madurai
Check out from hotel after early breakfast and drive to Trichy – a town situated on the banks of river Cauvery. On arrival at Trichy visit the famous “ Sriranganathaswami temple” at Srirangam - The most revered of the 108 pilgrimage shrines of Visnu, and the largest temple complex in all India, it is surrounded by seven concentric walls (the outermost wall having a perimeter of over 3 kilometers) and 21 towers called “Gopurams”. The most attractive among the Gopuras is the one at the entrance with lot of colors and stands one of the tallest amongst many other temple towers in Tamilnadu. Srirangam enshrines a statue of Vishnu reclining on a great serpent. You break for lunch at a nice city hotel and then on proceed to the old city of Tamilnadu –Madurai. On arrival check in to hotel and relax. Overnight at hotel in Madurai.

Day 09 : Madurai
After breakfast we proceed for the sightseeing of Madurai. Madurai is a very interesting city with a lot local ambience.This city is also a very congested city with narrow lanes that offer a wonderful window to the world of rural india. The Bi-Cycle Rickshaw tour of Madurai offers you a memorable experience of being in this old city. It takes you to the interesting narrow streets & lanes of Madurai showing the typical life of people in here. The Rickshaw pullers of Madurai were getting very unpopular with the locals as the locals preferred the more modern mode of transport. The Cycle Rickshaw - the most eco friendly form of transport was fast being phased out, and the hundred and twenty rickshaw pullers of Madurai were being deprived of a lively hood as they were unable to buy the modern forms of transport like the auto rickshaw/taxi etc. To give these pullers another lease of life we at Hi-tours have designed this tour as part of our commitment to promote responsible tourism. By taking this tour,you are supporting the rickshaw pullers and at the same time encouraging the locals to use the rickshaws and all of this in a very eco friendly way. By Cycle Rickshaw we visit - Meenakshi temple (one of the largest temple complexes in south India), Flower/Fruit & Spice Market, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, Small scale Industry like Vessel making & Cloth making. Later return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Madurai.

Day 10 : Madurai - Periyar
Check out from hotel after breakfast at 07.30am and drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady). The name periyar comes after the Dam made here by the English in 1895. A wild life reserve hence is an ideal place to track down wild life such as Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. The landscape here is with very tropical and you will be surrounded by tea, coffee & other spices. On arrival check on to hotel and at 16.00hrs leave for a guided plantation tour to the nearby garden where in various species of spices and other aromatic plants are cultivated. The guide explains & Clarifies your doubts on this tour. Depending on the day’s opportunity you will also taken to visit a tea factory nearby. Overnight at hotel in Thekkady.

Day 11 : Periyar
Early morning at 06.00am you go on a Guided Jungle walk at the Periyar tiger reserve/national park. This 03hrs walk (not very hard) is very interesting and gives you the chance to see the wildlife life at a very close distance. If you are lucky you may even spot the rarely sighted leopards & tigers. Return to hotel and rest. At 15.30hrs we leave for the most popular boat trip at the National Park - the best way to observe game in wild is by boat. There are many animals to see, including herds of elephants, bison’s and packs of wild boars that roam through the woods and parade along the shores of the lake just before sunrise and sunset. You can also see also different species of apes. The golden langur monkey that lives here is rarely seen in the rest of India. Other animals in Periyar are otters and porcupines. Water turtles can often be seen sunning themselves on the pieces of wood that stick out of the water. Osprey and Cormorants belong to the most important species of birds in this area. Overnight at hotel in Thekkady.

Day 12 : Periyar - Alleppey
Check out from hotel at 09.00hrs and drive to Alleppey – the land of backwaters. On arrival check in to a private House Boat at 12.00noon that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the landscape from the protection of the cabin. The population’s whole life takes place here on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They do their washing and their washing up. They are so adapted to the water that you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water. Canoes with huge sails still transport people and you can find vegetable sellers, fisherman and other household materials being brought door to door by small wooden boats. This whole area is surrounded with coconut palms and, lush green Rice fields. The major cropping here is of coconut and it is said that the name for this place KERALA was from the old name of coconut as KERA. This trip enables you to learn/ know more on life of people who are dependent on backwaters. Overnight onboard House Boat.

Day 13 : Alleppey - Kovalam
Disembark from Houseboat at 10.00am and drive to “Kovalam beach” which is rich with palm trees. The journey through the tropical landscape of Kerala gives a good idea of people living in here. Kovalam beach is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in India. On arrival Kovalam check in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Kovalam.

Day 14 : Kovalam
Free days. You can unwind, eat some good food in one of the fish restaurants, swim and sunbathe. Whoever wants to see more of this country can go on a day excursion to Kanyakumari, the most southerly point of India. On the way you can stop at a splendid 17th century wooden palace of a former local king. Farewell dinner at residing hotel at Kovalam on last day of your stay. Overnights at Beach Resort in Kovalam.

Day 15 : Departure Transfer
Check out from hotel according to flight timing and the tour ends today with a transfer to Trivandrum airport for onward flight.
