South India has been
the desired home of several invaders
whether Dutch, Portuguese, French
or British. Though the latter were
the most powerful and made India a
British Empire, lets not forget
the small French enclaves that remained
there even after India declared its
independence from the British. In
Pondicherry, former French headquarters,
the influence of the invaders remains
obvious at every corner: French croissants,
French street names, French uniforms
for the policemen etc. This tour will
show you another side of the Indian
history
